A 2026 clinical trial is currently investigating whether L-carnitine supplementation may contribute to improved exercise performance and recovery by reducing metabolic stress and muscle damage associated with high-intensity exercise

So when someone asks "l carnitine benefits" — the answer depends entirely on what they're measuring. For fat loss? Modest at best. For recovery? There's genuine promise

6. Can Pomegranate Save L-Carnitine?

Here's where the story gets interesting — and where L-carnitine marketers might find a silver lining.

2025 research has shown that pomegranate may help counter the negative effects of L-carnitine.
